James Taylor

didn't know James Taylor had such a troubled time growing up. been into mental institutions, being a ultra-sensitive guy seemed hard for him.

I find it amazing how I instantly felt a connection to his songs esp. this one below which I kept in my mobile phone. His works speaks to me in an unexplanable way. It is as if I understood him. Sensitivity not handled well can really lead to mental problems which I personally struggled through growing up and is still challenging. This world is really fast to steorotype people. There seriously won't be all girls who are girly and soft or guys who are marcho and strong. There are always a wide spectrum.

Up on the roof
james taylor

When this old world starts a getting me down
And people are just too much for me to face
I'll climb way up to the top of the stairs
And all my cares just drift right into space

On the roof, its peaceful as can be
And there the world below don't bother me, no, no

So when I come home feeling tired and beat
I'll go up where the air is fresh and sweet
I'll get far away from the hustling crowd
And all the rat-race noise down in the street

On the roof, thats the only place I know
Look at the city, baby
Where you just have to wish to make it so
Lets go up on the roof

And at night the stars they put on a show for free
And, darling, you can share it all with me
Thats what I said
Keep on telling you

That right smack dab in the middle of town
I found a paradise thats troubleproof
And if this old world starts a getting you down
Theres room enough for two
Up on the roof...

stars and the deep universe never fails to fascinate me.
