2008-07-08 - 11:45 a.m. usnisa 25 Jul '08 got a high fever as I came back from MILK run dance training. I knew I exhuasted myself cos I had aches all over. popped a pill and went to sleep only to be awakened by bolts of stomachache. just kept having diarrhoea. was pitched black as I woke up again and went to the toilet. As I got up, the world started spinning. felt weak n dizzy as I hugged the wall. haha fancy hugging the wall which of course, didn't help. I didn't know how long it was. I woke up feeling pain all over - head, back, elbows, buttocks - everywhere esp. my head. realised I was on the floor. draggin myself out of the toilet, I called out to whoever was there that I fainted. Mum came up and helped me to bed. I plonged right onto the bed, face down. She reached out n touched my head n exclaimed: "wa! there's a bump!". I thought: "great, now it seems like a TV drama". DRAMA-MAMA-QQ. I'm very grateful that the next day, my brain could still function well enough to register for my subjects. i got most of what I wanted! That's great fortune. I was like...okay, no matter what I must still get my courses, let the punches roll... Doc said it's viral infection, guess somewhat like food poisoning? haa. I told him I fainted and hit the floor. He asked my mum a little harshly: "Where were u when she fainted?" I felt this sense of guilt shooting through my heart. I knew it wasn't her fault. Mum replied sheepishly(when she shouldn't be feelin bad at all!) that she was downstairs thus she didn't hear it. I think it's good fortune that I didn't have any implications. Doc mentioned it is dangerous to fall on the back as there might be chances of concussion. Luckily, I didn't vomit, didn't have consistent pain. I guess I triumphed. came across this article, love it.
I took on the emcee role last minute in an attempt to ease Jasmine's stress. I was so nervous. I'm glad I won the audience as they greeted and thank me for inspiring them. Some got my email and wanted their children to contact me. I have a mission here too. I won't give up SSS as long as I can.
